Terms of use

These are plain-English terms — a starting point, not formal legal advice. For anything requiring legal certainty, consult a lawyer.

The apps and this site

The apps and website at vigodlabs.com are provided by Vigod Labs (Marc Vigod) on an "as is" basis, without warranty of any kind — express or implied. This includes, but is not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use them at your own discretion and risk.

What you can do

You may download, install, and use Vigod Labs apps freely for personal and commercial purposes. No account, subscription, or registration is required. No usage data is collected or transmitted — the apps run entirely on your device.

Intellectual property

The software, code, and assets remain the property of Vigod Labs and are provided under their respective licenses. Where a specific open-source license applies to an app, that license governs. Nothing in these terms grants you a right to redistribute, resell, or sublicense the software unless the applicable license explicitly permits it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vigod Labs is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of — or inability to use — the apps or this website, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Third-party distribution channels

Apps distributed through the Chrome Web Store, GitHub, or Homebrew are also governed by the terms and policies of those respective services. Downloads obtained through those channels are subject to both these terms and the terms of the distributing platform.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the apps or this website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the bottom of this page reflects when these terms were last revised.
