Privacy policy.
The core principle: Vigod Labs builds software with no accounts, no telemetry, and no tracking. This page spells out exactly what that means for each product. It is written in plain language, not legalese — a plain-language summary, not a formal legal document.
This website
vigodlabs.com is a static site hosted on Cloudflare. We do not set any tracking cookies, run any analytics scripts, or use advertising pixels of any kind. Cloudflare may process standard server-side request logs (IP address, browser user-agent, page requested) as part of their infrastructure and security services. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details on how they handle that data. Beyond that, nothing about your visit is collected or stored on our end.
Velocity (Chrome extension)
Velocity is a browser extension for controlling video and audio playback speed. All of your settings — playback speed preferences, per-site speeds, custom hotkeys, and any excluded domains — are stored locally in your browser using the standard chrome.storage.local API. This data lives inside your browser's sandboxed storage and never leaves your device. The extension makes no network requests, sends nothing to any server, and includes no trackers of any kind.
Orbit Launcher
Orbit Launcher is a native macOS app. It collects no personal data and has no analytics or telemetry. Your preferences (pinned apps, hotkey binding, layout settings) are stored in macOS UserDefaults on your own machine and never transmitted anywhere.
Orbit Launcher does check for updates automatically. It does this by fetching a small appcast file from orbitlauncher.app using the Sparkle update framework. This request contains the app version and your macOS version so Sparkle can determine whether an update is available — no personal information, no account, no identifier. You can disable automatic update checks in the app's settings.
The app requests Accessibility access from macOS to register a global hotkey. This permission is used only to detect your hotkey press. No keystrokes, clipboard contents, or screen contents are read or recorded.
CaffeineTimer
CaffeineTimer keeps your Mac awake for a set duration. It collects no data whatsoever, makes no network connections, and has no telemetry. It does one thing: prevent sleep for a chosen amount of time.
JellyBar
JellyBar lets you reorder, hide, and arrange menu-bar icons. It collects no personal data and sends nothing over the network. JellyBar uses the macOS Accessibility permission to manage your menu bar locally — this permission is required to move system-level menu items and is never used for anything else. No telemetry, no analytics, no accounts.
